NATURAL PLUS is a Romanian import-export company activating in the field of food supplements since 1994.

Between 1994 and 1997, the import of food supplements was made from Hungary, where Universal Nutrition U.S.A had the first representance in Eastern Europe.

Universal Nutrition USA products became known for their excellent quality and their accessible price, that is why Natural Plus began their distribution on the Romanian market.

Since 1998 Natural Plus has been importing Universal Nutrition USA products directly from the mother company, due to the high demand on the market, and became an exclusive representative and distributor of Universal Nutrition USA in Romania.

All the raw materials used in the manufacture process (proteins - whey, milk, soy protein isolate, milk & egg white) are imported from the USA and the European Community. The carbohydrates complex and other special ingredients like creatine monohydrate (CREAPURE™) and Kre-Alkalyn®EFX are also imported, Natural Plus being the unique distributor of these two brands in Romania.

Natural Plus manufactures its own food supplement line which includes carbohydrate-protein concentrates, weight gainers formulae, products for body definition and fat loss etc., all following well-established recipes, according to the EC standards for food supplements.

The packaging process of the products takes place in the Natural Plus manufacturing facility. Each box has a Natural Plus logo seal and it has an extra protection - a stretch foil ring. In this way we make sure that our customers are satisfied with the quality of our products.

Since 2008, the production line has been completely automated for the mixing, the measurement, the packaging and the sealing of the products. For these processes, Natural Plus uses a new 5 tone capacity installation approved by the European Union. Natural Plus also has logistics for the distribution of food supplements (trucks, cars, etc ).

The production and storage processes take place in a 5.000 square meters facility that fulfills all the hygienic conditions required (German TUV Rheinland implemented the ISO 22000 standard concerning the safety and quality of food).

Natural Plus has a research department consisting of food Chemistry engineers and nutrition specialists. Their mission is to incorporate high-end ingrediends into new products in order to increase the eficiency of the nutritional supplement formula.
